2 Peter 3:9

“The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.”
- 2 Peter 3:9

Have you ever been through a period in your life where nothing seems to be going according to "the plan?" Did it feel like you were losing your sense of self, the person everyone knew you to be, and that you had no control over how you were changing? Have you ever been through something so exhausting, heart-breaking, emotional, physical, humbling, but yet powerful, faithful, and patient?
I am there right now! And have been for the last 8 or so months. If you would have asked me earlier in my life if I thought I was going to have kids, I would have told you that I would love to have them, but for some reason I didn't think it was going to be easy or even possible for me to have biological children. I felt that way before doctors confirmed that it would be hard for me. Even after the knowledge of this struggle, I NEVER fully imagined how difficult it would be to walk through. The endless needles, bruised veins, swollen abdomen, weight gain, enlarged ovaries, medications that do all kinds of things to a female body, fatigue both physically and mentally, negative pregnancy tests, and waiting are SO HARD to take! I have been handling these things well up until this month. AND THE ONLY REASON I CAN HANDLE THEM AT ALL IS MY FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST!
I have walked through anger, sadness, loneliness, frustration, worry, but if it were not for Christ walking next to me and the Holy Spirit living inside of me, I would have walked away from everything in my life. I would have given up and run away. Christ has used this time to draw me closer to Him. I can say that I have not enjoyed most of the process, but I have LOVED how He has changed me. How He continues to love me and show me the kind of woman He wants me to become. I am tired and look as though I have been run over by a truck, but I know Christ is providing me strength to continue. I KNOW that there is a PERFECT life full of blessings waiting for me in Heaven. I LIVE a blessed life right now because Christ loves me and watches over me. I don't know where the end of my fertility journey will be, but I TRUST Christ with my whole life; knowing that He will provide exactly what I need to mold me into a woman after His own heart. I still hope that biological children are in my future, but I will be alright if none come into this world. I will give my love to others; the way my Heavenly Father has adopted me into His kingdom and family.
I love 2 Peter 3:9 because it reminds me that God's sense of time is not the same as our own. It focuses my attention away from my desire to control my life, and turns it to the Master and His timing. His. Perfect. Time. His patient time. His loving time. His time to call me to repent. His time to be near to me in sweet humility.
I pray that I would rest in this time. That I would release my anxiety for the future and trust where Christ is taking me. I pray for joy! For passion to share my struggle with others. If there is any way to use me; Please do so! I ask that Christ would search my heart and reveal any sin in my life. I am so thankful for the life I have in Jesus Christ!

In Christ's name, Amen!

Luke 11:13

“If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”
-Luke 11:13

Father, you are so faithful to me even when I do not deserve it! You walk beside me when I feel far away from you; you are patient with me; always waiting to hear my voice. Thank you for loving me! Thank you for giving me the wonderful gift of the Holy Spirit! How precious is that gift above all others! Lord, you know I desire to start a family. You know the pain I undergo each month; both emotionally and physically, but if having kids is going to take me away from you, then you are right to not give them to me! I want to glorify you and live for you! I want to raise kids that know you and lead them to you daily, but I also trust what you are doing in my life. I KNOW that you are giving me what is best! Father, may your will be done in my life; may I be a testimony to your loving grace and mercy! May I serve others the way you have shown me how through Jesus Christ. May I love you with my whole heart and may that love pour out onto others.

Thank you for the saving grace in Christ!
In His name, Amen!

Days 77-80: Colossians 4:2-4

Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving. At the same time, pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ, on account of which I am in prison— that I may make it clear, which is how I ought to speak.
- Colossians 4:2-4

Father, thank you for the words you inspired Paul to write! Words that teach us and spur us on toward living for your glory. May we, as believers, pray with thanksgiving and ask for open situations to declare the Good News. May we be bold like Paul in telling others of our reason to hope. May we turn to you for guidance and strength.

Thank you for new life! I ask that you be with David and Melissa during this time of labor! Praise be to your name for the gift of new life! May the little one that is on its way into the world grow to know you. May mommy and daddy be drawn closer to you and taught about your love through this life. I pray for Christ's saving grace to be upon this family!

Thank you for loving us!
In Christ's name, Amen!

Days 69-76: Psalm 138: 1-3

It has been over a week! I cannot believe how easy it is to get "busy" and forget to post something.

I give you thanks, O LORD, with my whole heart;
before the gods I sing your praise;
I bow down toward your holy temple
and give thanks to your name for your steadfast love and your faithfulness,
for you have exalted above all things
your name and your word.
On the day I called, you answered me;
my strength of soul you increased.
-Psalm 138: 1-3

Father, you are faithful! You are loving! Your name is highest above all! Lord, I do praise you, but I have failed in praising you with my whole heart. I hold back in fear of earthly concerns; I let anxiety take over in my life; I do not release my heart's control to you in EVERY situation. Thank you for loving me anyway. Thank you for showing me how to let go and for taking my life through trials and suffering so that I have opportunities to give my heart to you fully. Thank you for the past 21 months! I have learned so much about giving my life to you, but I am no where close to understanding your ways. Father, teach me more about your love. Show me patience and give me the strength to show patience to others. Supply the words on my tongue so that others may know I am yours.
Thank you for a week of rest; may I be productive in seeking your way for my life. Thank you for sustaining me!

In Christ's name, Amen!

Days 63-68, Romans 12:9-12

Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.
-Romans 12: 9-12

Father, you know what is going to happen to all of us in our daily lives! You have planned it out from the beginning. Lord, I confess my sinful nature of being lazy and letting my desire to do things that are easy and thoughtless take over! The very things that keep me away from you! I thank you whole-heartedly for the friendships you have placed into my life; the sisters and brothers I have in Christ and the family and friends I have that don't know you. Your blessings are too much when I stop and think of them all. I pray for my love to show through your strength; that the people in my life would know your love because of how I show love to them. May I be patient and always in prayer.

Lord, I pray for the leaders of my church. Thank you for the Drapers! Thank you for calling them back to IL and for speaking so clearly on how you would have them serve. Thank you for their hearts of sacrifice and love! How gentle their spirits are; how gracefully they have walked through adversity because they rely upon your strength! Thank you for the example they are of your servant Jesus Christ! I pray that the church would come around them and support them in their new ministry roles. May they be strengthened and encouraged by us.

Thank you for the members of my small group as well. I am blessed by their love and concern daily! I am amazed at how you call people together to glorify you! You are glorified through the men and women here! You constantly amaze me and I cannot wait to gaze upon your face and sing your praises forever!

Thank you for your sacrifice and the love you have for us. May we live as Romans instructs; to love genuinely.

Days 59-62: Ecclesiastes 7:21 & 22

Do not take to heart all the things that people say, lest you hear your servant cursing you. Your heart knows that many times you yourself have cursed others.
-Ecclesiastes 7:21 & 22

Father, how true these words are! Especially right now in my life! Thank you that I can turn to your word in every situation and find something that speaks to my heart! Father, I pray for my attitude at work. I have been quick to anger; jumping to the worst possible outcome immediately. I ask that you would grant me a calm spirit in that place. I ask for the desire to even get out of bed and go to work! As that has become a challenge recently. Lord, help me love others who I don't get along with! Humble my heart and mind so that I have a servant attitude and not one trying to control everything. Thank you for being a wonderful leader that was humble and giving so that I have an example to follow. May I look for your guidance in my daily walk. May I actually look like a Christian to the world, not like someone who doesn't know you at all! Father, help me, I am not strong enough to do this on my own!

In Christ's name, Amen!

Days 55-58: Ecclesiastes 7:14

In the day of prosperity be joyful, and in the day of adversity consider: God has made the one as well as the other, so that man may not find out anything that will be after him.
- Ecclesiastes 7:14

Father, you have given us your word so that we may find you in our lives! Thank you for doing this and for being so much more than I can possibly imagine. You know when I need to read, hear, or see certain things to keep on your path; thank you for bringing me to this verse today. Thank you for the book of Ecclesiastes! Thank you for the wisdom in this book. I pray for this wisdom; I pray that I would seek out righteousness before evil and that I would not try to understand your ways. Thank you, Father, for making both prosperous days and adverse ones! One without the other would mean I would never know you! Thank you for days of trial, for they have drawn me closer to you! I pray my heart would continue to seek after you!

In Christ's precious name, Amen!

Day 52-54: Ephesians 2:10

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
-Ephesians 2:10

Father, thank you for creating us with a desire to work. Thank you for giving me the desire to always be working toward a goal. Lord, I confess my need for perfection and control. I confess that when I know how to fix something that I often will do anything to get it taken care of; to the point of stepping beyond my place. Lord, I ask for patience in situations where I know I am right, but do not have the power to change anything! I ask that you would take away the resentment that is starting to build and replace it with love for those around me in this difficult predicament. I also pray for direction in where you want me to be working. You know what I can and cannot handle! Father, show me the path to take! Thank you for loving me and for walking with me through this often times rough journey!

In Christ's awesome name, Amen!

Day 48-51: 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

- 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Father, thank you for the gift of life! Thank you for all the wonderful gifts you give us within this life on earth and the eternal life praising you! Thank you for family and friends, for joyous occasions and for support in times of trial. Thank you for loving us!

In Christ's name, Amen.

Day 47: Psalm 4:1

"Answer me when I call, O God of my righteousness!
You have given me relief when I was in distress.
Be gracious to me and hear my prayer!"
-Psalm 4:1

Father, You hear our prayers and you promise to answer them when they are in line with your will for our lives! Thank you for being a God that knows our every thought and desire. Thank you for wanting us to come to you still and reveal our hearts to you. Thank you for caring about our desires and for shaping us into men and women who love and serve to glorify you! Lord, show me where you would have me in this world! Show me where to serve at church and how to serve outside of the body of Christ. Teach me how to love the lost and be a light among the darkness. Father, care for the suffering and embrace them in your arms. Lord, thank you for easing my pain. Even though the pain is lessened, the desire is still there. Lord, I pray for your timing; knowing that it is perfect. I pray for peace in the waiting! May I serve you while I wait!

In Christ's name, Amen!

Days 43-46; Mark 13: 32-37

"But concerning that day or that hour, no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Be on guard, keep awake. For you do not know when the time will come. It is like a man going on a journey, when he leaves home and puts his servants in charge, each with his work, and commands the doorkeeper to stay awake. Therefore stay awake—for you do not know when the master of the house will come, in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or in the morning—lest he come suddenly and find you asleep. And what I say to you I say to all: Stay awake."
-Mark 13: 32-37

Father, May I stay awake and always look for your presence in my life! May I work for your glory. May I find peace and joy in walking with you! May you work all things together in my life for your glory! May I worship you consciously! Thank you for your guiding principles and words!

In Christ's name, Amen!

Day 41 & 42: Philippians 2:5-8

“Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.” -Philippians 2:5-8

Father, thank you for sending Christ here to walk on the Earth! Thank you Jesus, for humbling yourself to the point of death. Thank you for defeating death and rising again! Lord, thank you for the blessings and opportunities you have given Ryan and I. I pray that we would be seeking your will for our lives and that we would not rush into any decisions we have to make in the next couple of days. Lord, I cannot understand what you are doing, but it is exciting to see you work in our lives! May we be at peace with whatever comes. May we focus on the wonderful life we have because you are at the center. May we speak of your great love for us and let others know that our hope and joy comes from you! Lord, I cannot express enough thanks and appreciation for all you have done and continue to do for me and this world.

In Christ's holy name, Amen.

Day 40: Psalm 21: 3-7

"For you meet him with rich blessings;
you set a crown of fine gold upon his head.
He asked life of you; you gave it to him,
length of days forever and ever.
His glory is great through your salvation;
splendor and majesty you bestow on him.
For you make him most blessed forever;
you make him glad with the joy of your presence.
For the king trusts in the LORD,
and through the steadfast love of the Most High he shall not be
moved."
-Psalm 21: 3-7

Father, you make all of us who walk with you feel like a king. You bestow us with blessings like crowns of gold and have given us salvation! You have promised our days will have no end. You create a joy that is indescribable and a peace that surpasses all understanding in our hearts. Thank you for leaving the Holy Spirit to live in us; and for teaching us through your Word. May my heart trust in You! May I stand on solid ground and not ever be moved!

In Christ's name, Amen.

Day 38 & 39: Revelation 22: 6-21

And he said to me, "These words are trustworthy and true. And the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent his angel to show his servants what must soon take place."

"And behold, I am coming soon. Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book."

I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed them to me, but he said to me, "You must not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book. Worship God."

And he said to me, "Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near. Let the evildoer still do evil, and the filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do right, and the holy still be holy."

"Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay everyone for what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end."

Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and that they may enter the city by the gates. Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and the sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

"I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you about these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star."

The Spirit and the Bride say, "Come." And let the one who hears say, "Come." And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price.

I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.

He who testifies to these things says, "Surely I am coming soon." Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!

The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen.

-Revelation 22: 6-21

Yesterday was Easter! The day Christ rose from the grave to conquer death and sin! What a glorious day! Father, thank you for all the blessings you have given to me! For family, friends, work, play, daily comforts, and most importantly for my Savior, Jesus Christ! Father, I don't even deserve Christ, and you have given my life to him and blessed me with so much more! Thank you for yesterday; a time to remember the precious gift you gave the world. A day when I can gather with fellow brothers and sisters to worship and thank you! Thank you for the restful day yesterday and the renewed mind for this work week. Lord, I pray that as I go forth I would remember first to do your work, then the world pertaining to this world. May I respond to different situations in a manner that glorifies you. May I be focused on the light of heaven.

I love this passage from Revelation. It describes your coming back for me and the rest of your body and bride! How encouraging it is to read these words. That you are the beginning and the end; all is finished! May we walk righteously in your path and follow your calling to, "Come." I look forward to the day all pain ends and we can live praising you in heaven! Thank you so much for the wonderful gift of Easter! Christ is Risen!

In Christ's name, Amen.

Day 36 and 37: Matthew 20: 17-19

And as Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, he took the twelve disciples aside, and on the way he said to them, "See, we are going up to Jerusalem. And the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn him to death and deliver him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified, and he will be raised on the third day."
-Matthew 20: 17-19

Lord, what a special time of year for Christians! When we can celebrate Christ's defeat of death! Thank you for coming down from Heaven on high and walking amongst us! Thank you for being obedient to the point of death on a tree; even when you could have provided a way out for yourself. Father, thank you for defeating death by rising on the third day! Thank you for saving us from an eternity of living without you! Thank you for loving us enough to take away our sins. Thank you for choosing me to walk by your side. Thank you for knowing where I am headed and for making a way for me. I praise you because you are: Holy, Almighty, Infinite, Wisdom, Powerful, Wonderful, Savior! May I be a reflection of you as I live on this Earth.

In Christ's beautiful name, Amen.

Day 35: Psalm 19: 7-11

"The law of the LORD is perfect,
reviving the soul;
the testimony of the LORD is sure,
making wise
the simple;
the precepts of the LORD are right,
rejoicing the heart;
the commandment of the LORD is pure,
enlightening the eyes;
the fear of the LORD is clean,
enduring forever;
the rules of the LORD are true,
and righteous altogether.
More to be desired are they than gold,
even much fine gold;
sweeter also than honey
and drippings of the honeycomb.
Moreover, by them is your servant warned;
in keeping them there is great reward."
-Psalm 19: 7-11

Father, on days when I feel like I can go on no longer, your Word reminds me of your awesome power and infinite greatness. That you have promised great reward to those who love you and keep your commandments. Thank you for this promise. Please help me remember it when all else seems so wrong and I feel like I am walking without a purpose. Help me to remember that the things I start to worry about are only things of this world; help me to hold onto you and things with eternal value! Lord, heal my broken heart and fill me with your love. May I love others with mercy that comes from you! Grant me extra help from the Holy Spirit today! I need you!

In Christ's name, Amen.

Day 34: 1 Timothy 1: 12-17

"I thank him who has given me strength, Christ Jesus our Lord, because he judged me faithful, appointing me to his service, though formerly I was a blasphemer, persecutor, and insolent opponent. But I received mercy because I had acted ignorantly in unbelief, and the grace of our Lord overflowed for me with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost. But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life. To the King of ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen."
-1 Timothy 1:12-17

Father, I echo Paul's prayer here today! Thank you for finding me faithful and appointing me to your service. Thank you for the grace of our Lord in Christ Jesus and for sending Jesus to save sinners and be the example of patience, love, mercy, and submission. Lord, I pray for continued strength as I walk through the darkness; looking for answers. May I stop looking for answers to my questions, and instead, look for you. May I find what I am seeking in the arms of Christ; my comforter and savior. Renew my spirit so that I may serve others for your glory. Renew my energy so that I can be a helpmate to Ryan. Remove any selfish desire I have! Thank you for loving me so much that I cannot understand it!

In Christ's loving name, Amen!

Day 30-33; Psalm 27:14

"Wait for the LORD;
be strong, and let your heart take courage;
wait for the LORD!"
-Psalm 27:14

Wow, what a couple of days it has been! Waiting to hear about fertility treatments, so that we could travel to Louisville for a baby shower, which ultimately, ended in them being canceled this cycle and all kinds of other stresses too, so I am sorry for not writing! I wish I could say this weekend was filled with quiet time with God, but it was not. I can truly feel the distance and the yearning to get back to him! (Which is a pleasant return of an old feeling) The Lord is truly blessing me during my time writing the prayers and during the reading and studying that goes along with being in prayer! With that,

Father, thank you for showing up in everyday occurrences to let me know that I am not alone. Thank you for granting me a peace this past week and weekend and helping me find the joy in serving others. Thank you for the wonderful family I was born into and the amazing family I have in your body of believers; they truly are an encouragement to me and help me to see how much you love me! Thank you for being my Rock, when all else is crumbling around me, you are there. Dad, I pray that I would be able to withstand the waiting. I ask that you would grant me strength to walk daily with the pain and heartache. I ask that if your will does not include children, that you would release that desire from my heart and replace it with your desire and plan for my life. I thank you for the easing that has already begun; for the ability to dwell on the other ways you bless me and want me to serve you! Lord, I do not want children to become an idol again, please show me where you would have me and how you are going to use me for your glory.

In Christ's name, Amen!

Day 29: Luke 8:14-15

"And as for what fell among the thorns, they are those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by the cares and riches and pleasures of life, and their fruit does not mature. As for that in the good soil, they are those who, hearing the word, hold it fast in an honest and good heart, and bear fruit with patience."
-Luke 8:14-15

Father, thank you for your Word. It is alive and thriving in this place. Thank you for the examples you leave for us in the pages of the Bible. I love finding the meaning in them that speaks to my heart and convicts me to humbly come before you. I pray that my life would be like a plant that is firmly rooted in good soil! That I would hear the word, hold fast to it, and with patience, bear fruit of the spirit. Fruit that glorifies you and points others to Jesus Christ! May I not be so worried with the details of everyday life that I miss opportunities to serve others and show love to them. Father, send me little whisperings and reminders to let me know when my focus is in the wrong place! Thank you for the gifts and wonderful blessings I have in this world. Ones that keep me comfortable; may I never take those for granted! You are truly amazing and I love walking in your presence. Stay near to me.

In Christ's love, Amen.

Day 28: Romans 2:3-5

"Do you suppose, O man—you who judge those who practice such things and yet do them yourself—that you will escape the judgment of God? Or do you presume on the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that God’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance? But because of your hard and impenitent heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed."
-Romans 2:3-5

Father, thank you for your kindness and patience. It is true that these qualities lead us to repent of our sins and strive to walk in the manner of Christ. Thank you for loving us and calling us to you! Lord, I pray for those who don't know you. Soften the hearts of those whose name you called before they were born; call them to you so that they may know the love which surpasses all understanding. I pray for believers, that we may be a light for this dark world. May we glorify you in all we do. May we be your hands, feet, and voice here on Earth. May we be what you use to plant seeds into the unbeliever's heart. Thank you for using people in my life. They are truly blessings to me! Thank you for not losing your patience with me as I walked stubbornly away from you for so many years. Thank you for not leaving me now! Use me in any way you see fit!

In Christ's name, Amen.

Day 27, Leviticus 26: 1-4

"You shall not make idols for yourselves or erect an image or pillar, and you shall not set up a figured stone in your land to bow down to it, for I am the LORD your God. You shall keep my Sabbaths and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD. "If you walk in my statutes and observe my commandments and do them, then I will give you your rains in their season, and the land shall yield its increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit."
-Leviticus 26: 1-4

Father, thank you for promising to care for us. Thank you for laying out ways to be obedient to you in the Old Testament and then providing the fulfillment of those commands in your Son, Jesus Christ. Thank you for coming to Earth as a man to give us an example of how to love and how to lay our lives down for your glory. Thank you for giving us the gift of a Redeemer and Savior. Thank you for loving us that much. Dad, may I remember that love and your faithfulness to me. May I not build up idols in my mind or heart. May I not put things of this world before you in my life. Thank you for the old testament and the reminders to watch out for idols in our lives; may I be searched by you and be made known if there are any idols within me. I pray that you would use my life to glorify you! I pray that my desires would become your desires. Change my heart, O God, and give me the strength to serve you all the days of my life.

In Christ's powerful name, Amen.

Day 26, Acts 1:4-5

And while staying with them he ordered them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father, which, he said, "you heard from me; for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now."
-Acts 1:4-5

Father, thank you for the gift of the Holy Spirit and that we are not walking alone in the world. Thank you for creating us to be in relationship with one another. I pray for the body of believers, that we may love one another the way you love us; unselfishly and with patience. I pray that as your hands and feet here on earth, we would glorify your name by the way we interact. Thank you for giving us the Truth in your Word and for creating us with minds that seek wisdom and knowledge of you! We are wonderfully made! Your plans are unknown to me, but I stand in awe of the things I can see you doing! You are an awesome God!

In Christ's name, Amen!

Days 23,24 and 25 John 6:35-40

Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst. But I said to you that you have seen me and yet do not believe. All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out. For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will but the will of him who sent me. And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day. For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day."
-John 6:35-40

Father, WOW, how life can become so busy! Thank you for calling my mind and heart to be in prayer these past few days, even though I have not found time to write until now. Thank you for the gift of our dog, Lord, may we train her to be loving, gentle, and obedient. May she know that we love her so much and may she grow to enjoy her life with us. I have been given a tiny glimpse of how much a parent can love a child and it really amazes me that you sent your Son to die for us. Not only die, but be crushed so that we could have a relationship with you again! How you must love us! Christ was the perfect example of how we are to be obedient children to you; we are to live our lives not to do our own will, but to do the will of you, our Father! Lord, I pray that we do just that! I pray for myself that I would be open to the future you have for me; whether that contain biological children or adopted or dogs for kids, I ask for the grace and peace to find and enjoy your purpose for my life. I hope that above all, I continue to desire your companionship more than any other worldly thing; I am so looking forward to the day you return and I can worship you and walk with you in Heaven. Thank you for the strength to do the things I don't want to have to do. I pray they are effective and will be glorifying to you!

In Christ's name, Amen!

Day 22: Psalm 139: 1-6

"O LORD, you have searched me and known me! You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
you discern my thoughts from afar.
You search out my path and my lying down
and are acquainted with all my ways.
Even before a word is on my tongue,
behold, O LORD, you know it altogether.
You hem me in, behind and before,
and lay your hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
it is high; I cannot attain it."
-Psalm 139: 1-6

Father, thank you for knowing me so intimately. For laying my path out before me, for going ahead and creating the perfect way for me to walk. Lord, may I trust fully in where you are taking me. May I seek out strength from you to be able to walk down this road. May I find joy and peace along the way. Thank for you for your Son and the love you have for me!

In Christ's name, Amen.

Day 21: Isaiah 40: 28-31

"Have you not known? Have you not heard?The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He does not faint or grow weary;
his understanding is unsearchable.
He gives power to the faint,
and to him who has no might he increases strength.
Even youths shall faint and be weary,
and young men shall fall exhausted;
but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings like eagles;
they shall run and not be weary;
they shall walk and not faint."
-Isaiah 40: 28-31

Father, thank you for being in complete control! How foolish is man to think that we have any say in the way of the world? You are the creator; the one who spoke all existence into being; the one who understands all the workings of the world, both good and evil; and you are the one who will bring peace to the world when you return! Lord, may I seek wisdom from your Word, and may I not try to be in control of my life. May I humbly submit to your direction and your will, even when I don't understand or like where you are taking me. I trust that you are only doing what is Good and that you are making true on your promise to mold me into a person more like yourself. Lord, may I find joy in the waiting and the discipline. May I seek you out and tell you all my thoughts; though you know them all. May I express the desires of my heart, but may I feel the desire to do your will, wherever that leads, more than any other desire! And Lord, may I walk with perseverance and not grow weary! Thank you for loving me as a father!

In Christ's all knowing name, Amen!

Days 19 & 20: Psalm 119: 1-8

"Blessed are those whose way is blameless,
who walk in the law of the LORD!
Blessed are those who keep his testimonies,
who seek him with their whole heart,
who also do no wrong,
but walk in his ways!
You have commanded your precepts
to be kept diligently.
Oh that my ways may be steadfast
in keeping your statutes!
Then I shall not be put to shame,
having my eyes fixed on all your commandments.
I will praise you with an upright heart,
when I learn your righteous rules.
I will keep your statutes;
do not utterly forsake me!"

Father, thank you for words like these that call me into worship and guide my life to walk in your holiness. Thank you for knowing exactly what I need to read and see to be called back to your presence! Lord, as the psalmist wrote, "Oh that my ways may be steadfast in keeping your statutes!" I pray that for myself; may I live for you in all that I do!

In Christ's strong name, Amen!

PS- Just a note to why I combined days...we recently got a puppy and she is definitely taking a lot of time and love! Very excited to have her in my life!

Day 18: Psalm 3:7-8

"Arise, O LORD!
Save me, O my God!
For you
strike all my enemies on the cheek;
you break the teeth of the wicked.

Salvation belongs to the LORD;
your blessing be on your people!"

-Psalm 3: 7-8

Father, thank you for saving me! Thank you for defeating my enemies. And thank you for the blessing of salvation. I also thank you for the many other blessing you have given me in this life. I pray that I be aware of those blessings and dwell upon them instead of the painful or difficult things. Thank you for the gift of our new puppy! May she grow to be healthy and happy!

In Christ's name, Amen!

Day 17: Psalm 139: 7-12

"Where shall I go from your Spirit?
Or where shall I flee from your presence?
If I ascend to heaven, you are there!
If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there!
If I take the wings of the morning
and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
even there your hand shall lead me,
and your right hand shall hold me.
If I say,
"Surely the darkness shall cover me,
and the light about me be night,"
even the darkness is not dark to you;
the night is bright as the day,
for darkness is as light with you."
-Psalm 139:7-12

Father, thank you for always being with me! For always walking next to me no matter where I am going. Whether it be to glorify you or if I am running to hide from you; I cannot escape you! Thank you for holding me in your hands and never letting me go. Thank you for loving me so much! Lord, I pray that my thoughts and actions would be pleasing to you and that I would become a light in the darkness for you. May I seek strength from your wisdom and Truth and may I show love to others when it is difficult. May I extend the same grace and mercy you have shown me. Thank you for being a God I cannot fully understand so that I have the chance to stand in reverence of your glory all my days!

In Christ's loving name, Amen.

Day 16: Isaiah 53: 5-6

“But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned—every one—to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.”
- Isaiah 53: 5-6

Father, thank you for loving your people enough to send your Son to take the wrath in our place. That he freely gave his life so that we would have peace. Lord, I confess, that I have gone astray from your commands; that I struggle daily to be like Christ. I pray for the strength, understanding, and wisdom from the Holy Spirit to help me treat others as Christ would have treated them. May I not be focused on my way, but on your ways! May I be used to glorify you, not myself! Thank you for your love and grace.

In Christ's loving name, Amen.

Day 15: Proverbs 11:2 & 3

"When pride comes, then comes disgrace,
but with the humble is wisdom.
The integrity of the upright guides them,
but the crookedness of the treacherous destroys them."
-Proverbs 11: 2 & 3

Father, thank you for the wisdom that is written in your Word. Thank you for drawing me near and gently rebuking my thoughts, actions, and words. I am sorry for reacting in a manner that is not pleasing in your sight. Lord, my anger and frustration for not being in control gets the better of me. I do not automatically react with a humble heart and I know that makes me look like a fool. I pray for the ability to shut my mouth and let you deal with the things in this world that I do not think are fair. I pray that I can lay down my pride and the "things I think I deserve" at your feet and look with gratitude on what I do have. May I not compare myself to others! May I work for you and your glory even when things are not "fair." May that be one thing that sets me apart and causes people to see you in my life.
Thank you for loving me even when I act like a fool!

In Christ's forgiving name, Amen!

Day 14: Psalm 117

"Praise the LORD, all nations!
Extol him, all peoples!
For great is his steadfast love toward us,
and the faithfulness of the LORD endures forever.
Praise the LORD!"
-Psalm 117

Father, may all the nations lift your name on high! May we sing your praises forever! Thank you for your faithfulness and your love toward us! Thank you for answering prayers in ways beyond what we could have hoped. Thank you for loving us so much! Thank you for providing relationships that point us to you and your glory. May I walk daily looking to you for wisdom and the compassion to love others. You are amazing! Thank you, thank you!

In Christ's name, Amen.

Day 13: Jeremiah 29:11

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."
- Jeremiah 29:11

Father, how true these words are! You know how to give me a hope at just the right time! When I feel like I can no longer continue on the path in front of me, you are there with just enough encouragement. You reveal another part of the puzzle to where my life is headed and how I can live to glorify you. I love this passage, but I love the context of this passage more! If you continue to read, it says, "Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart." I will strive to seek you with all of my heart so that I may continue to find you in the midst of this broken world! How glorious are your ways and how perfect are your provisions! Lord, I pray that Ryan and I can make the best decision about the new job; that we would choose the path that leads to your glory! That we would seek your will in our lives from a job to a family to moving; (that we would come before you for all we desire!) Father, help my attitude to be at peace with the things I am fighting! May I adopt a joyful heart in the most difficult times! You know what my heart is struggling with; may I give the control over to you and not worry about controlling others! You manage them much better than I do anyway!
Lord, thank you for your love. Even when I fall and the day is hard, you are next to me picking me up and brushing me off! I can't wait to feel the full power of your love in heaven! Oh glorious day!

In Christ's beautiful name, Amen.

Day 12: Ephesians 6:10-20

"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak."
-Ephesians 6:10-20

Father thank you for giving us your armor! That you provide the strength and protection we need for the spiritual warfare of this world. May I stand firm in my faith and be ready with the truth of your Word when I am put on trial. May I look to you and the guiding of the Holy Spirit to give me wisdom in my daily interactions. Father thank you for giving me the desire to be in prayer with you all the time! I love that my heart yearns to be close to you! May I have the same passion and perseverance of Paul; to be a servant and ambassador in chains for your glory! I love you so much!

In Christ's strong name, Amen.

Day 11: Romans 5: 1-5

"Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us."
- Romans 5: 1-5 (ESV)

Father, thank you for the hope that we can have in you because of Christ! Thank you for loving us so much. When the road we travel gets so hard to walk may we look to you for guidance and strength. May we know that you have a plan for our lives and remember this verse. I pray that we would know Romans 5: 1-5 is the absolute TRUTH and find comfort in what it reveals. Thank you for using suffering for a purpose; that you are not a God that enjoys inflicting pain on his people. Thank you for your compassion! I pray that I would come to the place of hope in your glory and not hope in the desires of this world. I thank you for slowly revealing my worth in eternity and that I have come to understand it is there I need to be focused! Not on what my worth is here! Thank you for teaching me something new everyday!

In Christ's name, Amen.

Day 10: Lamentations 3:19-24

Remember my affliction and my wanderings,
the wormwood and the gall!
My soul continually remembers it
and is bowed down within me.
But this I call to mind,
and
therefore I have hope:

The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases;
his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
"The LORD is my portion," says my soul,
"therefore I will hope in him."

-Lamentations 3: 19-24

Father, thank you for new mercies everyday! Thank you that your love is steadfast and never fails. Thank you for your faithfulness, even during times when I have not been faithful to you. You ARE my portion! You are all I will ever need in this life and in eternity! If I have you, then what else shall I want. I will place my hope in you; the unfailing Lord. I will rest in the peace of knowing you are walking with me through the joys and pains and that you are my strength! I will look for and wait patiently for your return! Lord, may I not put my trust in the comforts of this world, but place all my trust in you. I pray that my life be used in any way you desire! Thank you for the gift of your Son and the Holy Spirit!

In Christ's beautiful name, Amen!

Day 9: Isaiah 66: 1-2

" Thus says the Lord: Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool; what is the house that you would build for me, and what is the place of my rest? All these things my hand has made, and so all these things came to be, declares the Lord. But this is the one to whom I will look: he who is humble and contrite in spirit and trembles at my word."
- Isaiah 66: 1-2

Father, how mighty and powerful you are! How wonderful are the things that you have created! You have built all in our world. Lord, I cannot fully comprehend the fullness of you; I know in my heart that you are everywhere, but for my human brain that is beyond full understanding! At the same time, I wouldn't want it any other way! Thank you for creating the world, for creating us to glorify and bless you. I pray that you look upon me and find that I am becoming humble and contrite in spirit! Thank you for the instructions in your word; that we have a guide to know how to live according to your will. I ask that you give me the strength to let go of anything that is building pride in my soul and the pride that is innate in me. I give them over to you! Lord, I desire to walk next to you with an open heart and mind; one that is willing to be used for your glory no matter the cost. Thank you for the trials and the joy that is teaching me how to be a humble servant to you. May I never forget these lessons from a father who is teaching me so much! Thank you for loving me enough to rebuke me!

In Christ's strong name, Amen!

Day 8: Glorious Day by Casting Crowns

Glorious Day (Living He Loved Me)
By Casting Crowns

One day when Heaven was filled with His praises
One day when sin was as black as could be
Jesus came forth to be born of a virgin
Dwelt among men, my example is He
Word became flesh and the light shined among us
His glory revealed

Living, He loved me
Dying, He saved me
Buried, He carried my sins far away
Rising, He justified freely forever
One day He’s coming
Oh glorious day, oh glorious day

One day they led Him up Calvary’s mountain
One day they nailed Him to die on a tree
Suffering anguish, despised and rejected
Bearing our sins, my Redeemer is He
Hands that healed nations, stretched out on a tree
And took the nails for me

Living, He loved me
Dying, He saved me
Buried, He carried my sins far away
Rising, He justified freely forever
One day He’s coming
Oh glorious day, oh glorious day

One day the grave could conceal Him no longer
One day the stone rolled away from the door
Then He arose, over death He had conquered
Now He’s ascended, my Lord evermore
Death could not hold Him, the grave could not keep Him
From rising again

Living, He loved me
Dying, He saved me
Buried, He carried my sins far away
Rising, He justified freely forever
One day He’s coming
Oh glorious day, oh glorious day

One day the trumpet will sound for His coming
One day the skies with His glories will shine
Wonderful day, my Beloved One, bringing
My Savior, Jesus, is mine

Father, thank you for creating a desire in me to worship you! Thank you that your mercies are new each day! Thank for you inspiring songs that speak truth! That point us to your glory and plan for humanity. Thank for being a God that loves us more than we can know. Thank you for saving me, carrying my sins far away, justifying my future in heaven with you. How I wait for the day you return! The day the trumpets sound and your life giving light shines upon the earth. How wonderful that moment will be! Thank you for filling my heart with love and giving me the desire to love others. My cup runneth over! Father I ask you to give the desire to love others because of your presence to those who are lost. I pray specifically for my loved ones. May they know you and because of the holy spirit living in them and love others with an agape love. Thank you for the peace you have bestowed upon my soul, even though I am walking in the shadows. May the pain I experience be used to glorify your name. Grant me the strength to walk without crumbling and the ability to be joyful in difficult times. Thank you for the ultimate plan you have for your people!

In Christ's powerful name, Amen!

Day 7: Psalm 31: 9-16

"Be gracious to me, O LORD, for I am in distress;
my eye is wasted from grief;
my soul and my body also.
For my life is spent with sorrow,
and my years with sighing;
my strength fails because of my iniquity,
and
my bones waste away.

Because of all my adversaries I have become a reproach,
especially to my
neighbors,
and an object of dread to my acquaintances;
those who see me in the street
flee from me.
I have been
forgotten like one who is dead;
I have become like
a broken vessel.

For I hear the whispering of many—
terror on every side!—
as they scheme together against me,
as they plot to take my life.

But I trust in you, O LORD;
I say, "You are my God."
My
times are in your hand;
rescue me from the hand of my enemies and from my persecutors!
Make your face shine on your servant;
save me in your steadfast love!"

-Psalm 31: 9-16 (ESV)

Father, thank you for building a solid foundation in my soul that cannot be broken! I have often wondered over the last few months what could possibly hurt my soul more than not being able to conceive a child...well you are revealing that to me! Lord I confess that my silence toward you was stubborn and a way to avoid having to deal with the pain and loss I feel. I know now that this was only hurting me more; being apart from you affects everything in my life! I am sorry that my friendships and marriage have suffered. I am also sorry that I chose to hide from you as though you didn't know exactly how I felt or what was going on in my heart! How childish, how foolish I have been! Father, I pray for my relationships, especially my marriage! Lord, be the center of my life and of these things! May we turn to you with our pain and sorrow, trusting that you will comfort us with your peace. May we confess our anger and confusion toward you, may we come to know with our whole heart and mind that you are GOOD! That you LOVE us and are working in our lives. Father, may we have eternal perspective and hope! I know that you love me and I know you are doing awesome things in my life. Father, thank you that I have a place with you in eternity and the things of this world will not matter when I get to live forever praising your glory! I pray for an eternal focus!

In Christ's strong name, Amen!

Day 6: 1 Peter 3:18

"For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit,"
- 1 Peter 3:18 (ESV)

Thank you father for coming to us in the flesh. Thank for you dying on the cross to take our place so our sins may be forgiven. But most of all, thank you for giving us a perfect example of holiness. Thank you that we have record of Christ's life and walk with you so we can strive to attain a small fraction of that holiness here in this life. Thank you that we may be seeking after your attributes! I know that I am not perfect, nor will I ever be until I am whole and one with you in heaven, but I pray that you would be showing me how to be compassionate. I know that is not one of my strong points and you are revealing to me how important compassion is to live in fellowship with believers. Lord, may I seek to listen and understand those who are hurting, just as I have been given the wonderful gift of having people listen to me! May I be a living example of your love, with one aspect being compassion!
Thank you for creating today so that I can seek to know you more and walk in your ways! May I not be easily distracted by the ways of the world!

In Christ's merciful name, Amen!

Day 5: Colossians 2:6-7

"Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving."
- Colossians 2:6-7 (ESV)

Father, thank you for calling me to walk with you! Thank you for giving me the gift of new and everlasting life. Thank you for bestowing the Holy Spirit upon my soul, allowing me to live with renewed exuberance. Lord, may I live with a boldness that only comes from you! May I speak the truth in love without regard for my feelings or success. Use me to do your work in proclaiming your excellency to those who you would place in my life. May I trust in your promise to work all things together for good and for your glory! I thank you for establishing my life and holding me in your hands. Thank you for guiding me and loving me. May I be overcome with joy and thanksgiving as I dwell upon your greatness!

In Christ's awesome name, Amen!

Day 4: Philippians 4:6-7

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
- Philippians 4:6-7 (ESV)

Father, thank you for the promise of peace. Thank you that you answer prayer! We only need to ask and you shall answer according to your glory. Thank you for the peace that comes with prayer; a peace that really does surpass all understanding! I am living proof of that! Thank you for the peace of the last year, one that could have pulled me away from you, but your love kept me near. Lord, I pray for that peace for those who are hurting. I ask that you show them your love, grace, and mercy. Reveal the Good News of your Son to people who don't know you. May I be a steward of your love as well to those around me. Thank you for your ultimate plan for the world! We wait for your return!

In Christ's name, Amen.

Day 3: Isaiah 43: 6-7

"I will say to the north, Give up, and to the south, Do not withhold; bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the end of the earth, everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made."
- Isaiah 43: 6-7

Father, with these verses you call us to you and give us a purpose for our lives. You tell us the reason for our existence; that we were made to glorify you! How wonderful and noble a calling! Lord, but as I sit here and ponder this, I ask, "Am I doing that with everything, with all of me?" Silently, the answer in my heart is no. I am a fallen sinner, one that is selfish at times and gets distracted by the world. Dad, I am so sorry that it is easy for me to not dwell in your presence. That I can be so mindless sometimes. I will never be able to thank you enough for the gift of your Son! That even though, I am a sinner, a wretch, you love me enough to send your Son to die on a cross so that I could know you. So that I could LIVE to glorify you. Thank You, Jesus for being obedient to the point of death! Father, I pray that this love I feel for you would continue to grow. I pray that the more I learn of you, that the passion to live my life dedicated to you would grow. I am asking to be used by you! I am laying my life at your feet, please, Father, show me how to glorify you and live my life so that others may know you. Allow me to be a servant; to work so that people would delight in you!
Lord, thank you for inspiring men to write your Word. I am in awe of your greatness and mercy. I cherish your wisdom and am blessed to be free to read it daily. Thank you for my life; may I use it well.

In Christ's name, Amen.

Day 2: Romans 8:28

"And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose." - Romans 8:28 (ESV)

Father, your promises are abundant, but I believe this one is my favorite! It is the wonderful promise that you are working, out of love for us, everything together for your glory. That doesn't mean our lives will be perfect or painless, but that if we love you and are walking with you, we will get to see the amazing ways you work. The way you knit people together to encourage and challenge each other. The way you have created us to be in relationships; with you and with others. Father, your ways are indescribable! Thank you for creating us in your image with a heart that loves and needs to be connected with others. I pray that as I continue on my journey, the desire to be in communion with you and others grows greater each day. I pray that the pain I have experienced would be used to your glory! Lord, may I be strengthened, humbled, and grow more compassionate because of the sorrow. Help me to realize and understand how to love others. Help me to put away selfish desires that are not centered around you or your desire for my life. Father, help me to TRUST you with my whole existence, not just in the areas that are easy.
Thank you for your grace and mercy. Thank you for your warm embrace and the gift of peace during difficult times. May I rest in your love and peace.

In Christ's loving name, Amen.

Day 1: John 3:16

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." -John 3:16 (ESV)

Father, thank you for loving us this much! That you would send your son to be crushed for our sins. Thank you that your character is one of love and mercy. That you care for us so much that you sent Christ to die so that we may be reconciled in relationship with you. Thank you that Jesus sits at your right hand and makes a way for us! Lord, I pray for the believers, that we would be bold and carry your strength with us as we walk in this world. I pray that you would grant us opportunities to tell of your love to those who are hurting and are lost. Father, I pray that as you call the names of those you love, their hearts and ears would listen and believe!
Thank you for loving us and calling us to you. Lord, your ways are far better than any I could create for myself. May I rest in the truth of your love and mercy.

In Christ's name, Amen.

A Year of Prayer

Starting on John 3:16 day, 3/16/11, I am committing myself to a year of prayer everyday! I am very excited and nervous about this project because, as is my nature, I am terrible at finishing the things I begin. Like diets, workout routines, reading projects, etc; I generally get bored and leave them to collect the proverbial dust.
I am hoping and praying that this is not like everything else! This past year has been a challenging one and in my quiet times, I have been hearing the whisperings of Christ to begin a writing project. This project, I am hoping, will become something greater than myself. I will write from the heart and hope that some of the prayers will be special to you as well. I look forward to having people join me on this journey and covet your responses and prayers.

Thanks for joining in prayer with me!
